	Dr. Johnnetta Cole: I joyously join with all of you in saluting the "Adopt-a-Patient" Foundation, a righteous effort inspired by the life and work of Ennis Cosby and launched by Dr. René. The idea of this Foundation is so basic, so sound, so powerful. It is quite simply this: that we should support youngsters who are challenged by learning differences, AND that they would, in receiving this assistance, come to accept their responsibility to "give back" by serving others. There is so much about this effort that is truly moving; and it symbolizes, in such an exquisite way, who Ennis Cosby was and how very much his spirit lives on. In the words of an African proverb; the one who learns must teach. *"What are you willing to do to make this vision a reality?"*

	Kevin Arcadie: Nothing is ever achieved without persistence and faith. There is no goal so high that one cannot find a way to climb to new heights; nor so far away that one cannot persevere to reach their destination. My career as a writer has been based on my belief that I can always try harder and always do better by putting good positive energy out into the world, then good positive energy would be returned to me. One can never lose faith in what one believes, but first and foremost, one must believe.
