Mission
In order to achieve our Vision, the Adopt-a-Patient Foundation commits to the following: To provide innovative, practical and top-quality health care and educational environments that enable and empower those who are willing, to take charge of their lives.

We believe our first responsibility is to those who have been given no hope. It is our position to develop and implement individualized, realistic self-sufficiency action plans. It is our hope that the Adopt-a-Patient Foundation will become an important place of choice for studying, experiencing and supporting individual life-style choices, innovative learning possibilities and natural health care.

Values
The Foundation believes that all people, regardless of social or economic condition, have the capacity to take charge of their lives and should be enabled and empowered to make critical decisions for their futures.

We value the full range of human diversity and seek to involve diverse populations in our staff, board, volunteers, and patients.

We listen to our patients describe the services they need and the way they want them delivered.

Employment Opportunities

Working mothers critically need a readily accessible reliable and affordable service to help them provide nutritious meals for their family. Many elderly citizens in the community are unable to perform housekeeping and maintenance tasks and no longer have regular personal or family contacts. Many children need family contact that these elderly people could provide. We hope to be able to assist single parents to secure jobs that produce economic benefits greater than dependency on welfare programs.

Goals
The purpose of the Foundation is to help those with so-called incurable problems.

The Foundation has three aspects:

FIRST
: Learning Differences:To set up programs for those with learning differences, children who are considered slow learners, dyslexic or troubled children. Controlled studies have been done that are showing that these children have correctable problems.
Our documentary, "My 12 weeks with 'Nature's Mighty Bites'" is now being edited.

SECOND: Sports Lab: To create programs for athletes to learn how to prevent sports injuries. Our program also helps those with neuromusculoskeletal problems.

THIRD: Youth Council: To develop community based programs to give youth New Hope. Our Youth Council was created to get parents and youth involved in setting a new environment for our youth. We have a learning center that organizes health workshops, entertainment workshops, tutoring services and sport seminars.
