Dr. René will speak at the PAL program March 28th, 2006 in Methuen, MA. PAL is a program for Parents Achieving Literacy.
Dr. René is the keynote speaker for the "Best of The Best" Conference in Bismarck, North Dakota April 4-6, 2006. Best of the best is: Integrated Thematic Instruction (ITI). A comprehensive school improvement model designed to increase student performance and teacher satisfaction. The primary purpose of the model is to grow responsible citizens. Over the past 25 years, ITI has been implemented in thousands of schools across America, Europe and Asia.
The ITI model is a brain-compatible instructional model grounded in the biology of effective instructional strategies, and the development of conceptual curriculum.
The Foundation sponsored a concert with Wayne Newton, "Mr. Las Vegas", in coordination with the Greater Lawrence Vocational Technical School on July 31, 2006. The concert was held at Sal's Riverwalk, at 354 Merrimack Street, Lawrence, MA. The proceeds are being used for the Kids Need Us Now Learning Center and projects for the Youth Council. The event was enoyed by all.
